(HealthCentersOnline) – In the fall begins and the temperature begins to drop, many people also may notice a change in your complexion.
Many people develop skin drier during the colder months. Low temperatures, low humidity, winds and heat inside can lead to skin that is dry, scaly, flaky, chapped or irritated. People can try to relieve dry skin by applying moisturizer or washes over his face less often. However, this may lead to additional skin problems.
According to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (TEA), changes in routines of skin care and additional moisture may cause outbreaks and increased redness during the transition into the colder months.
To help people avoid an increase in acne this fall, and keep skin looking healthy all year round, the ASDS recommends the following tips:
* Follow all instructions for prescription drugs. Laser treatments and oral medications that fight bacteria and reduce the excessive oil production are some ways to remove stains. Maintaining a proper diet helps the skin to be effective. This includes the following locations and times prescribed by your doctor. Be patient, it may be six to eight weeks to see improvements in the prescription or nonprescription medicines.
* Eat a balanced diet. Research shows that there is no direct relationship between consumption of fatty foods or sweets (including chocolate) and rashes. However, food allergies can trigger acne for certain people. For these people, avoiding these foods may help reduce pimples. Lifestyle as a healthy diet, exercise and stress management really help your skin.
* Relax. The hormone that the body produces in response to stress is known to trigger acne and may cause an epidemic. Try to develop techniques to help manage stress and avoid last minute delays.
* Choose cosmetics without oil. When choosing cosmetics is important to find the right type for your specific skin type. Look for the words “non-comedogenic” on the label, choosing products that are free of oil will not clog pores and help prevent future problems. Some even contain rings of benzoyl peroxide, which helps fight acne while concealing it.
* Do not fight against acne alone. If you tried to get rid of acne by yourself and you will simply not work, ask for help. A dermatologic surgeon can help you on the path to clearer skin.
Do not rub. Many people associate acne with dirty faces, if you rub your face with harsh soaps that contain detergents, sometimes irritant that can increase breakouts. Wash your face twice daily with mild soap and water and dry.
* Do not pop pimples. Press a button increases the risk of infection. Press the buttons really pushes the bacteria deeper into the pores, causing redness and swelling and can leave permanent scars.
* Do not leave scars that you get. Scars from acne can be emotionally devastating. Fortunately, treatment options continue to evolve.
